I'll have a NOTD which includes Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure over a OPI by Sephora red (i can't remember the name silly me), EOTD for today (9/30), some swatches (no lip ones though) of some MAC lipsticks. That plus some other EOTD for this coming week will probably take up the next week or so. I have approximately seventeen lipsticks I want to swatch, and post on here just for reference for anyone who needs it. The lipstick swatches will be:

LOTD: 9/27

I'll start off with the eyes. I did my normal MAC's Minted Kohl liner under the darkest shade from the Burmese Beauty quad on my lid. MAC's Glamour Check was put on the outer lid and blended out into the crease. MAC's Fascinating Kohl liner was put on the inner tear duct, and my lower water line. Minted was placed on the outer two thirds on my lower lash line with the darkest color from the quad put over it. MAC's Vapor was placed on the inner third of my lash line, brow highlight, and on the inner tear duct. MAC's Defiantly Feline Superslick liner was placed on my upper lash line, and placed on the lid. Covergirl's LashBlast was used on my upper lashes. For my face I used Bare Escentuals Fairly Medium matte foundation, Giddy Pink blush, and Faux Tan matte bronzer. Urban Decay's Naked lipstick was used on .. well the lips!

EOTD: 9/26

Today I used MAC'S vapor all over my lid including my brown highlight and on the inner third of my lower lash line. MAC's glamour check was used on the outer third and blended up into the crease as well as on 2/3 of my lower lash line. MAC's Superslick liner in Defiantly Feline was used on my upper lash line. Covergirl's LashBlast was used on my upper lashes.

Spell Cosmetics Liquidation... and deception.

Will you be getting anything from their "sale"? I'm actually not going to get anything. At first I emailed them with a list of items for the "private shopper sale", but now receiving their "liquidation" email I feel betrayed, deceived, and lied to. I love their items, but since I'm not really going to be able to buy from them anymore what's the point it getting anything now? When I run out of it I won't be able to repurchase it. I'm utterly disappointed since in my mind they used to set the standard for customer service.... I will be removing any reviews and swatches of,their items since they are no longer relivent. They originally set up their liquidation sale as a "private shopper sale" extended to those who follow their blog, Facebook, and I think Twitter.

Today I used MAC'S Vapor, Bold & Brazen, and Glamour Check! Vapor was used as my brow highlight, and on the inner tear duct. Bold & Brazen was used all over my lid with Glamour Check on the outer third and blended up and out into the crease. MAC'S Superslick liner in Defiantly Feline was used on the upper lash line and winged slightly. Urban Decay's 24/7 liner in Bourbon was used on the lower lash line, and MAC's Fascinating Kohl was used on my lower water line. Covergirl's LashBlast was used on my upper lashes.

Today I used Bare Escentuals Unforgettable eyecolor foiled all over my lid with MAC'S Vapor eyeshadow on the inner corner and as my brow highlight. MAC's Prussian powerpoint liner was used on my lower lash line, and MAC's Signature Blue Superslick liner was used on my upper lash line and winged out. EOTD: 9/23

Today I used MAC's Prussian liner on the outer third of my lid hoping it would work like Minted did. Unfortunately since It's a powerpoint liner it DOES NOT works as well as a Kohl under shadows as a base. I can do a review with pictures of the difference if you want. Anyways I used Bare Escentuals Surprise eyecolor over my lid, and shroom as my brow highlight. The reason I used Prussian under Surprise just for a small section was because I though it would make a nice smoky effect. Easier using one color for a look than two. Prussian was used to tightened on my upper lash line and was used on my lower lash line as well. MAC's Fascinating eye kohl was used on my lower water line, and near the inner duct. Covergirl's LashBlast was used on my upper lashes.

MAC tiny haul

Today I took back the Leopard Luxe pallet, and the Drive Me Wild lipstick since I wasn't too overly thrilled with them to say the least.

I ended up buying Vapor eyeshadow, Fascinating Eye Kohl, and Prussian Powerpoint Eye Pencil. The reason I bought these was because of Tiffany (makeupbytiffanyd). She had a tutorial Tips to Make Eyes Look Bigger and Brighter.

If you don't follow her already I highly recommend doing so. She has some really great reviews and tutorials!

EOTD: 9/20

Today I used both the Burmese Beauty Quad and the Leopard Luxe pallet. I used the gold, cream, and matte brown color from Burmese Beauty, and the orange color from the Leopard Luxe pallet. The cream color was my brow highlight, gold was on the inner third of the lid, orange was on the rest of the lid with the brown on the outer third and smoked up into the crease. The Defiantly Feline Superslick liner was on my upper lash line with almay's brown pencil liner on my lower lash line. Covergirl's LashBlast in black was used on my upper lashes.

Yesterday I used the Burmese Beauty Quad again :)

I used the cream color all over the lid and as my brow highlight. Their matte brown was used on the outer,third of the lid and blended into the crease. Defiantly Feline Superslick liner on my upper and lower lash line with Maybelline Falsies mascara on my upper lashes.

Not digging the Leopard Luxe...

I bought MAC's Leopard Luxe quad today before work to try it out. I'm really not a fan of it. The only color I really like is the orange shadow. It kind of reminds me of Off the Page from MAC but not as vibrant. I wish I could try out the Palace Pedigreed quad because I gravitate more towards purple shadows since my eyes are green. The MAC where I bought the Leopard Luxe quad was out of the other one... sad... I might just get another Burmese Beauty quad since I LOVE that one. If I can't find the Palace Pedigreed quad it'll definitely be Burmese Beauty for me!!

MAC liquid liners...

when MAC's penultimate liner came out I was in love... but now with their Superslick liners... I own the Signature Blue, and I love the applicatior and formula 10 times better. Hopefully I have a swatch up for you tomorrow with either a LOTD or EOTD.

Minted

A couple of days ago I talked about putting MAC's Minted Eyeliner under my club looking color from the Burmese Quad. It really brings out the green over the brown tone. Which in my opinion is great! I've never played around with liners under shadows just Too Faced Shadow Insurance, UDPP, Concrete Minerals Electric Primer,Fryinnae's Epoxy, and MAC's Paintpots/paints so this was something new to me. I've heard about people doing this before I just never experimented with it. I like my end result though! The gold shadow from the Burmese Quad got on the eyeliner to make this tarnished gold color kind of like old gold. So that was a win too!! Anyways if you want swatches just let me know!!!

I played around with Burmese Beauty again today, and came up with this. The eyeliner I used is MAC's minted eye kohl. When I use minted over a base on my eyelid it makes the dark club looking color way more green, but I'm going to post a entry in more detail tomorrow. I just though I'd show you how I've been using this quad.

trying to find a dupe for Urban Decay's Naked

Okay so after thinking about my post yesterday I proceeded to go to Meijer after work. I checked out Rimmed first, and out of all the ones they had in stock between their two different kinds I found Airy Fairy. When I was there and switched them on my hand they looked very very closer! When I got in the car Naked is pinkier than Airy Fairy. Ugh... It was ssooo close though. I'll look through the other companies at later dates. Here's a swatch of them. My new love + LOTD

I've really started to love Urban Decay's Naked lipstick. It's creamy, and applies wonderfully. It is a pinkier nude as opposed to my favorite nude lipstick by Forces in "nude". My bf says he likes Naked better than Nude because he likes the pink over the beige/fleshtone. I'm hoping to fine a cheaper dupe because it would be nice not to spend $20 something on one lipstick. I think anyone that's nw20-nw25 should try this color out.

My LOTD is Bare Escentuals Surprise eyecolor all over the lid with Bare Escentuals Unforgettable eyecolor on the outer third, and blended up into the crease. To complete the eyes i used Almay's Amethyst eyeliner on the lower .lash line, and Covergirl'a Last Blast in black on my upper lashes. To complete the look I used Bare Escentuals Giddy blush, and their faux tan matte bronze. (and of course I used urban decay's naked lipstick)
